What happened between Newcastle United and Alexander Isak?
Alexander Isak submitted his bid to leave Newcastle United just a few days before the Magpies’ pre-season tour. According to reports, the forward player wants a better offer than what he currently earns at the club.
On the other hand, Newcastle missed the signing of Hugo Ekitike and the exit of Callum Wilson, which means their only available striker is Isak, and they are not willing to let him go until they sign a replacement (Benjamin Sesko), who is also on the radar of
Manchester United.
When will Isak’s contract expire at Newcastle?
Isak’s Newcastle contract has three years remaining, but they have now begun seeking potential replacements in case of his departure, although their stance has remained that he is not for sale.
