Enhle Mbali Opens Up About Painful Marriage to Black Coffee
South African actress and fashion designer Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa has spoken candidly about her emotional struggles during her marriage to internationally acclaimed DJ Black Coffee.
In a heartfelt interview with Relebogile Mabotja on 702, Enhle reflected on the challenges that led to their highly publicized split in 2019, describing herself as a “single married woman” during much of the relationship.
“I often raised our children alone while he traveled for work,” she shared. “The real breaking point came when he stepped outside the marriage.”
Enhle maintained that she stayed faithful throughout the union. “I’m proud of how I handled my marriage. I never cheated — not once — until the day I walked away. I couldn’t keep punishing myself,” she said.
She revealed the final straw was discovering that Black Coffee had fathered two children outside their marriage. “That was my non-negotiable. When that happened, I knew — you don’t love me. You’re going to kill me emotionally.”
The actress also opened up about her healing journey. “I forgave him for the apologies I never got. And more importantly, I forgave myself,” she said.
